Chloe Bloom

Chloe is the star of our story. She's originally from a small Midwestern town and moved to California after college for work. She's 25 years old, and she tends to be fairly reserved — except when her anxieties take over, which happens all the time now that she's stuck as a centaur! Chloe's famously a stick-in-the-mud, and she'd love nothing more than to spend her entire life curled up in bed with a book about Roman bricklaying — too bad she can't fit in her bed anymore!

Zia Mendez

Where would Day Two be without Zia, our bonkers genius snake girl? Probably better off! Zia's 23 years old and utterly brilliant but easily bored, a carefree overdose of ADHD and pixy sticks who loves pranking everyone around her for entertainment. Now turned into a naga, she's unfortunately also likely to be the only person who can fix the world and change everyone back — if she can be pried from her video games and pop culture long enough to do it!

Angel Mendez

Zia's big sister Angel is a motivational speaker and therapist who commands top dollar for her conferences and TED Talks. She's cheerful, upbeat, kind, professional, measured and collected, and loved by everyone — all of which helps to explain why Zia utterly despises everything about her!

Lynne Bloom

Lynne is Chloe's younger sister, and not only was she always pretty, red-haired, green-eyed, and outdoorsy, she's now a mermaid too, and was clever enough to parlay her new form into a big salary for performing in six shows a day at Disneyland. She and Chloe had a big falling-out some years ago, and neither really cares for the other a lot anymore, but like it or not, they're still sisters.

Priscilla Best

Priscilla is a little girl who lives in Chloe and Zia's apartment building. She really lives in her own imaginary universe, though, in which Chloe is a "magical unicorn princess," and Priscilla would give nothing more than to have a ride on the back of the most amazing creature she can imagine. Too bad that'd force Chloe to acknowledge that the fantasy life she's stuck in is all too real!

Dr. Sophia Serrano

Sophia is one of Zia's advising professors, and she's one of the few stable people in the room. Or at least as stable as a ball of mud can be! But she takes her new form in stride, and insists that even though there's not a whole lot of human left in her, she's not only more capable now but way better-looking than she used to be!

Dr. Hans Bernovitch

Who is Dr. Bernovitch? He was one of Zia's thesis advisors — until he stole her work and skipped the country. Now possibly working for the Khazovian Empire, it was likely his efforts using Zia's research that broke the world, but no-one knows for certain...

Chloe 2

Two is from a fairly normal parallel Earth where the crazy transformations of Day Two never happened. Cheery and upbeat, human Chloe Two loves what Chloe One turned into, and she'd trade being a centaur in an instant — if only that were possible! Chloe Two is bi, and she moved in with her girlfriend Lily a year or so ago.

Chloe 3

Three is from a parallel Earth where the transformations of Day Two took place over ten years ago and turned her into, to quote Chloe One, "a giant horrifying spider." She loves her new form, though, and the only thing she was missing in her life was a boyfriend — at least until she met Kyle.

Zia 2 (Dr. Zia Mendez)

Zia Two is Zia One's alter-ego from a parallel Earth, and she's everything that Zia isn't: Cool, calm, collected, and organized, and a proud recipient of the PhDs that Zia couldn't be bothered to earn. Zia Two is wise, careful, and capable, and everyone expects she'll have a Nobel Prize long before she turns 30.

Zia 3

Zia Three always was a bit of an airhead, and now her head's not even attached! A happily-married mother of two on her parallel Earth, she's occasionally involved in physics research — after all, it was a paper she wrote in high school that started the entire field of quantum fleurodynamics! Now if only she could remember why that mattered...

Amy

Amy is a research assistant, one of Zia's colleagues at the lab. She always wanted to be taller, but definitely not like this! Working with Sophia and Zia on crazy experiments is exhausting, but she's hopeful that by helping, one day her life too will be back to normal.

Iris

Iris is, in her words, "like the leftover parts of Chloe." But that suits her just fine! An up-and-coming artist, Iris thinks her present situation is great for her image, and absolutely adores her badass look — even if she now has to paint with her feet.

Kris & Candy

Two halves of the same person, Kris & Candy aren't twins: When the world broke, Kendra split right down the middle, and now the left and right hemispheres of her brain have to communicate with words instead of thoughts, which annoys everyone around her — but at least it makes her easy to beat at poker!

Kyle

Life couldn't have been easy for Kyle, getting turned into a giant spider monster. Luckily for him, he met a really cute girl one day who'd also been turned into a drider. Unfortunately, they were from different worlds... literally. But they'll make it work somehow.

Lily

Lily is Chloe Two's girlfriend, and she absolutely adores the cute spunky blonde, even if Two is a little crazy and anxious sometimes. At Lily's urging, Chloe Two moved in with her a year ago, and Lily's really hoping this relationship will be the one that lasts.

Rachel

Rachel is one of Zia's coworkers at the cash registers at Ultramart, and she's presently a tree. There's no good explanation for how or why she is able to exist like this, but she's at least no weirder than the girl who's half a red sports car!
