- Chloe: "Y'know, if it makes you feel any better, I hate it too. I weigh a ton. I haven't sat in a chair in forever. I don't fit through doorways. My ass is literally as big as a truck tire, and people run into it all the damn time."
- Lynne (pokes at her salad): "At least you get to walk. I had to sell my walk-up and get an apartment on the ground floor. Unless I'm in water, I might as well be a paraplegic. If you want a chair, you can have mine."
- Chloe (staring sadly at her cheeseburger): "We're a pair, aren't we?"
- Lynne: "The Zoloft helps." Chloe: "Xanax for me."
