- Adult Chloe: "All right, fine, I can tell you — a little bit about us." Young Chloe: "Cool. What's your job, me? What do we do when we grow up?"
- Adult Chloe (sagely): "I do bookkeeping and sometimes give tours at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum."
- Young Chloe: "Boooring. Do we have a nice house?" Adult Chloe: "Uh — tiny apartment. With my roommate, Zia."
- Young Chloe: "Ugh." "Cute boyfriend?" "Fiancé?" "Husband?" Adult Chloe: "...single."
- (Young Chloe glares irritably at Adult Chloe, who looks nervous.)
- Young Chloe (frowning): "I think we have bigger problems than the horse butt." Adult Chloe: "Hey! Adulting is hard!"
