- (at the door) Lynne: "Well, thanks for the pants." Chloe: "Keep 'em." "It's not like I can wear them anymore." Lynne: "Never say never."
- (walking down the stairs) Lynne: "I don't know what I'm going to do about my job, though. I mean, I love that I'm human again, but — " Chloe: "Yeah, I get it."
- (outside) Lynne: "I guess — " " — I'll figure something out."
- (standing at the bus stop)
- (bus arrives) Lynne: "I know this doesn't mean much, but if it could be you instead of me, I'd let you have this." "I thought I wanted it, but now that I have it — ."
- Chloe (holding Lynne's hands): "It means a lot."
Characters: Chloe, Lynne
A tender moment after a — challenging day. The story could stop here, I suppose, but it wouldn't be very satisfactory, now, would it? There are still some outstanding unanswered questions, and certain parts of the story seem... incomplete.
