- Chloe: "I'd love to, but these prices — " Lynne: "I'm buying." Chloe: "Really?" Lynne: "I make gobs of money and have nothing to do with it. Go ahead, splurge."
- Chloe: "The raspberry cheesecake, then." Lynne: "Just coffee, thanks." Waiter: "Those'll be right up!" (Waiter leaves.)
- Chloe: "Thank you." Lynne: "Don't thank me until after you step on a scale." Chloe: "No worries, I broke the scale months ago."
