- Zia (peeks around the corner in the apartment): "Hey, Chloe, can you help me with something?" Chloe (reading a book): "?"
- (in front of Zia's room) Zia: "I know you're down about everything, but I'm still working on fixing this."
- Zia (in her room, beside a strange machine): "I need another pair of hands." "You pull out that rectifier while I bend the heatsink back." "I can't quite do it with my tail."
- Chloe (reaches into the machine while Zia bends back a piece of metal): "This thing?" Zia: "Yep, that's it."
- *Machine zaps brilliantly.* *FZZZZZZ*
- Zia (looking down at a bright red portal in the floor): "Huh. Well, that wasn't supposed to happen." Chloe (freaking out): "This was still plugged in!?"
