- Zia and Chloe in Chloe's bedroom, with Lynne sitting on Chloe's bed. Zia: "So first, you shouldn't be going in there so often, Chloe. I know what you're doing, and I've been meaning to talk to you about that."
- Zia: "One of these days you'll destabilize the portal, and it'll suck in the whole apartment." "Or Earth."
- Zia (examines Lynne with weird goggles): "Second, I don't know what's going on with you. You still have just as much chimeric energy in you as we do, but it doesn't seem to be affecting you anymore."
- Lynne: "So — I really am human?" Zia: "Seems like it, for some reason."
- Lynne looks down at her foot.
- Lynne: "I never realized this before, but — " Lynne: "Feet are weird." Chloe: "Try having hooves."
