- Chloe and Zia, standing in front of draped American flags. Zia: "Hey, listen up, plebeians! This Tuesday, November 3, is Election Day!" Chloe: "That's right! And it's super-important that you vote this year because — "
- Zia: "Chloe, not again. You can't tell people who to vote for." Chloe: "Like fudge I can't! Have you seen this election!? How can you not have an opinion about it!?"
- Zia: "This is a public-service announcement! We're supposed to be non-partisan and just promote civic duty! Besides, we don't even live in their universe!" Chloe (angrily): "Don't care! It's too important! Everybody, you'd better — "
- Chloe (Zia's tail wrapped around her head, valiantly struggling to pull it off): "Mmmph! Mmph!" Zia (grinning): "As we were saying: No matter who you vote for, please go vote this November 3. Thank you!"
Characters: Chloe, Zia
We'll return to our regularly-scheduled craziness next week, but this week has its own special kind of crazy going on. So to all of my fellow Americans, make your voice heard, and make sure you go vote (if you haven't already done so like me)!
And to answer the obvious question, who would Zia and Chloe vote for?
Well, Zia's easy: She votes exclusively for third parties, preferably for candidates who say ridiculous things or wear outlandish clothing. Are you planning on banning squirrels? Do you intend to tax the color beige? Will you declare war on Canada over their hockey prowess? You'll totally have Zia's vote!
As for Chloe, she's pretty outspoken about her politics — but since we don't want to lose readers, Zia's going to make sure she'll stay quiet
